Installing the library
Windows
Copy the EasyUDF.dll file in [Firebird path]\UDF.Linux
- set the appropriate owner/group/permissions for EasyUDF.so (usually firebird / firebird / -rwxr-x---);
- copy EasyUDF.so library into directory [Firebird path]/UDF ([Firebird path] is the path to the directory in which Firebird is installed).
Distribution and license
The library is completely free of charge, even for commercial use. However if you wish to show
your appreciation and support its development you can make a donation. With a
minimum of € 20 you'll receive:
- one year technical support via e-mail;
- priority in reviewing of your problems.
Note: "completely free of charge" must not be confused with "completely free". EasyUDF is copyrighted software, not public domain software. See LICENSE.TXT for details).
